Financial Statement Notes

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

U.s. Generally accepted accounting principles require samco management to evaluate tax positions taken by samco and recognize a tax liability (or asset) if samco has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the internal revenue service. Samco's management has analyzed the tax positions taken by samco, and has concluded that as of september 30, 2017, and 2016, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. Samco is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Samco's management believes it is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years prior to 2014.

IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0U.S.
