Net assets with donor restrictions in the amount of $110,546 and $79,883 were available to be used for the specified purposes included in the memorandum of understanding ("the MOU") with the Development Authority of Cobb County at December 31, 2022 and 2021, respectively. Net assets in the amount of $25,000 and $50,000 relate to a multi-year in-kind contribution for advertising services at December 31, 2022 and 2021, respectively. Net assets released from restrictions in the amount of $119,337 and $115,201 related to the Development Authority of Cobb County MOU and $25,000, annually, related to an in-kind donation restricted for advertising were released during 2022 and 2021, respectively. Form 990, Schedule D, Part X, Line 2 The Organization is exempt from income taxes under Section 501(a) as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code ("IRC"). Accordingly, no provision or liability for federal and state income taxes has been recorded in the accompanying financial statements. The Organization annually evaluates all federal and state income tax positions. This process includes an analysis of whether these income tax positions the Organization takes meet the definition of an uncertain tax position under the Income Taxes Topic of the Financial Accounting Standards Codification. In the normal course of business, the Organization is subject to examination by the federal and state taxing authorities. In general, the Organization is no longer subject to tax examinations for the years ending before December 31, 2019.
