“Maine citizens for clean elections works to engage maine people from across the political spectrum, using research, education, and outreach to further fairness, inclusion, and opportunity in our politics. We believe in the importance of the maine clean elections act, the first system of full public financing for state candidates in the country, passed via referendum in 1996. Achievements in 2017-18 include fighting to ensure the release of clean election funds, strengthening the program for the future, and educating thousands of voters about the precedent-setting ranked choice voting system in advance of the june 2018 primary election.”

Anna kellar's mcce action salary allotment for fy2018 was 2,857 (15% of her time) and john brautigam's allotment was 2,541 (5% of his time), with the corresponding percentage of benefits and taxes reimbursed as well. Due to this arrangement, no w2 was paid out of mcce action.”
