Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The foundation's goal is to provide affordable housing for minnesota's homeless, veterans and others in need. This is accomplished by partnering with social service organizations and building professionals to rehabilitate existing housing and to build new homes. Through donations and volunteer efforts, each dollar donated to the foundation is leveraged thereby increasing the effectiveness of our work. Through these projects the batc foundation showcases the strengths and generosity of batc members.

To work in partnership with others to provide safe, durable, affordable housing for minnesota's homeless, veterans and others in need. As the charitable arm of batc-housing first minnesota, the foundation partners with local homeless service providers and taps the talents and resources of the association's member builders, remodelers, suppliers, and volunteers to build new or renovate existing transitional housing facilities for those experiencing homelessness.
