Additional Explanations

Form 990, Part III, Line 2

In 2021, lyngblomsten became a collaborative partner with the faith community nurse network of the greater twin cities (fcnn). This partnership allows 2nd half with lyngblomsten community services to expand its evidence-based wellness classes to the community, and it helps strengthen lyngblomsten's support for parish nurses. In late 2021, lyngblomsten began construction of a new continuum-of-care senior living campus in lino lakes, minnesota, located about 15 miles north of its campus in st. Paul. Rental townhomes (detached, one level) will open in fall 2022 and the rest of the campus in summer 2023. A multi-level senior living building will include independent living, assisted living, memory care, and an array of amenities.

Form 990, Part III, Line 3

After an 18-month hiatus due to the pandemic, the gathering group respite program relaunched in october 2021 for participants and their caregivers. While maintaining its core focus, the program underwent modifications that accounted for challenges and opportunities identified in a sustainability study. Along with this relaunch, 2nd half with lyngblomsten began offering online "care connect" sessions for caregivers. These sessions allow individuals to connect with the same small groupor cohortof caregivers weekly, with time to socialize and the opportunity to receive educational resources and support. Lyngblomsten home health services modified its program for the heritage apartments to align with the new assisted living law that went into effect for the state of minnesota in august 2021. It continued to serve tenants at the lyngblomsten apartments under its comprehensive home care license.

Form 99, Part XII, Line 2C

The process for the oversight of the audit and selection of an independent accountant has not changed from the prior year.
