Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Watch's mission is to make the justice system more effective and responsive in handling cases of domestic violence and juvenile sex trafficking, to improve outcomes for women and children who have been victimized, and to create a more informed and involved public. Watch envisions a judicial system that consistently treats women and children subjected to violence and sex trafficking fairly, expeditiously, and effectively so that victims are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives in safety and achieve stability and success. Watch's work leads to greater safety and stability for victims of violence and greater accountability for violent offenders, and raises public awareness about the prevalence and consequences of domestic violence and sex trafficking.

Watch's mission is to make the justice system more effective and responsive in handling cases of domestic violence and juvenile sex trafficking, to improve outcomes for women and children who have been victimized, and to create a more informed and involved public. Watch envisions a judicial system which consistently treats women and children subjected to violence fairly and expeditiously. We seek permanent improvement in the judicial system by providing judges and other participants with appropriate standards of behavior and regular performance feedback.
