When a conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest occurs, individual board and board committee members will: 1. Disclose the possible conflict of interest to the board of directors 2. Withdraw from discussions about a conflict of interest issue 3. Abstain from voting about (board) or recommending (board committee) a conflict of interest issue 4. Determine the possible conflict of interest with the board and determine steps to deal with the conflict.

The board of director's negotiated compensation with the executive director taking her education and experiences into consideration. Reach-up's wage scale was also utilized in determining the executive director's compensation. A letter from reach-up's board of directors to the executive director is in the personnel file documenting the annual salary and benefits. The process was last completed in 2018.

PARENTS SPEND PART OF THE TIME WITH THE CHILDREN AT LEARNING STATIONS.
