Activity 2

Provide psychosocial rehabilitation for about 480 adults with psychiatric disabilities. Due to budget cuts, trilogy eliminated four managerial positions. The duties of the managers were shifted to team leaders (as the first level supervisors) and to the executive-level staff. Another consequence of the restructuring process was the elimination of our psychological training program, which required supervision by a licensed clinical psychologist. All psychology positions were eliminated.the trilogy beacon is a year round community drop-in center that offers peer-to-peer leadership and is open to any person presenting as an individual with serious mental illness. In 2010, trilogy was awarded a $330,000 three year competitive title xx grant that allowed us to significantly enhance the drop-in center by hiring three full-time and two part-time peer specialists-mental health consumers who have completed specific training that enables them to enhance a person's wellness and recovery by providing peer support-and an employment specialist-a recovery counselor who assist with job exploration, job searching, resume writing, mock interviews, and job coaching.the goal of the beacon is to serve more than 400 unduplicated participants per year. The mission of the trilogy beacon is to build a safe community, grounded in mental health recovery, where peers inspire, support and empower each other through social, vocational, leadership, and advocacy opportunities. It is a secure milieu-free of threats to our participants' physical and emotional well-being. Participants work together to create a special place for all adults living with serious mental illness to work on their recovery. This exciting program increases access to therapy and employment services for our underserved client population and those individuals presenting as having serious mental illness.

Activity 3

Linkage outreach team provides services for about 480 adults with psychiatric disabilities. In fy09, trilogy's client population began to shift towards clients with higher needs. In order to be able to meet the needs of these clients, an additional linkage/outreach team was added. This team focuses on serving high-need clients including homeless clients, clients with legal issues, and clients who are not linked to entitlements. These services are provided primarily in the community.
