This program focuses on driving innovation and advancing new opportunities to address hunger, health, and wellness programs to seniors and their communities. Program Service Activity #5 Gerontology (as a social science) Research: The Katz Policy Institute (KPI) was established in 2007 as the third arm of BRI's aging services and research enterprise. It conducts research that informs policy development, to engage in advocacy efforts on behalf of older adults and those who care for them, and to provide training and education in how to utilize an evidence base derived from scientific research for public policy advancement. The Institute is named for Sidney Katz, MD, an internationally recognized health services researcher who conducted seminal studies on the delivery of health services to older adults and evaluated their impact, beginning at the former Benjamin Rose Hospital. KPI works with the Aging Network, including the Administration on Aging and the State Units and Area Agencies on Aging, to improve planning for long term services and support, increase awareness, access and choice for customers, and conduct evaluation research to improve the quality of care.”

("Golden Age Centers"), and continued operations under the name Rose Centers for Aging Well, LLC ("Rose Centers"). Rose Centers for Aging Well, LLC is a social service center which provides group and individual services to the elderly at multiple locations in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
