Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Community housing solutions (the "corporation") was organized as a nonprofit corporation in july 1995. The corporation was inactive until september 30, 2004 when it acquired real property consisting of an apartment complex of 101 units located in fallbrook, california. The acquisition was financed in part through a loan from the county of san diego department of housing and community development under the home investment partnerships program ("home"), community development block grant ("cdbg") program and a grant under the supportive housing program ("shp"). The shp funding requires that, for a period of 20 years, the project provide 10 beds in 5 two bedroom units to extremely low income, homeless, disabled veterans.

Community Housing Solutions was organized as a Nonprofit Corporation in July 1995 and acquired real property on 9/30/04 (an apartment complex) in Fallbrook, CA. The funding sources require the project be used for supportive housing for low income persons for 20 years.

THE CORPORATION WAS INACTIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2004 WHEN IT ACQUIRED REAL PROPERTY CONSISTING OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX OF 101 UNITS LOCATED IN FALLBROOK, CALIFORNIA. THE ACQUISITION WAS FINANCED IN PART THROUGH A LOAN FROM THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT UNDER THE HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM ("HOME"), COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT ("CDBG") PROGRAM AND A GRANT UNDER THE SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROGRAM ("SHP"). THE SHP FUNDING REQUIRES THAT, FOR A PERIOD OF 20 YEARS, THE PROJECT PROVIDE 10 BEDS IN 5 TWO BEDROOM UNITS TO EXTREMELY LOW INCOME, HOMELESS, DISABLED VETERANS.
