“The form 990 is prepared by an independent accountant. After the draft is complete, it is reviewed by the organization's accountant prior to distributing to the president, treasurer, and finance director for their review. Changes are submitted back to the form 990 preparer and then a final copy is produced. The final copy is sent to the board of directors prior to filing with the internal revenue service.”

The book goes hand-in-hand with the purpose of the convergence learning lab, so in 2024, we started thinking through ways in which to incorporate the book into our learning lab work. We have started to recommend the book as part of some trainings.”
