FUNDED PROJECTS INCLUDED INSTALLATION OF COVER CROPS AND CONTROLLED AG DRAINAGE. Work continued on a project to establish cover crops and buffer strips, over a 3-year period, using grant money from the great lakes commission. Note that initial funding was not received until december 2013, so this was not included on last year's return as a psa.

Partnership with campbell's soup is in the 7th year of a 10-year effort to assist with elimination of non-point pollution from the maumee river, with a focus on nitrate reduction. Funded projects included installation of cover crops and controlled ag drainage. Eleven controlled drainage practices were installed covering 555 acres and 280 acres of cover crops were completed.
