Form 990, Part III, Line 4D: Other Program Services Description

Other program services 4: drop-in center- hotel inc provides their homeless clients with case management and showers, laundry facilities and computer services for housing and workforce developments. These individuals are provided with necessary hygiene items, towels and laundry supplies. During 2014 38 guest used the drop-in center 174 times. This program began in may 2013. The drop-in center is also the first point of contact for case management. Other program services 5: food for all communtiy garden- hotel inc supplies manna mart food pantry with fresh produce. Salad beds are located on hotel's property, then a 1/4 acre vegetable garden is locarted at one of our congregation partner's property. Both locations of the gardens are for all community and are run entirely though volunteers. Other program services 6: homeless outreach/street medicine is hotel's third largest program. This program provided weekly fixed and mobil site volunteer teams addressing the basic and medical needs of the street homeless and precarously housed. At the fixed site location there is a hot meal served by different volunteer groups each week of the year. In addition there are two different sects of volunteers for the fixed site location. They are helping to address the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of our clients. The street medicine teams consist of medical professionals, case managers and mental health peer to peer support. These mobil teams work off of leads from the bowling green police department, community members and canvas precincts for the homeless encampments. It is the overarching goal of this program to help people experiencing homelessness to overcome barriers and obtain permanent housing. Other program services 7: life & bible classes: as hotel inc stirves to meet the physical, spiritual and emoptional needs within their community. One program is through the life & bible classes. All classes are free and open to the community. In 2014, two types of budget classes, two different bible studies, cooking classes, parenting class and one-on-one budget classes were offereed. Other program services 8: piecemarkers: this is a group of guilters who volunteer and create handmade quilts that are distributed to people being housed, have high utility bills or have suffered a fire. In 2014, over 35 quilts were distributed.
