“This form 990 was created by the executive director and the former treasurer, was reviewed and approved by the finance committee of the board of directors and was reviewed and approved by the board of directors in july 2017. The creation and approval process followed the organizations adopted financial policy.”

“The board of directors and staff annual sign a form acknowledging the conflict of interest policy and declaring any conflicts. Forms were received for all directors and staff. There were no contracts with directors or interested persons this fiscal year.”

“The salary range for the executive director was established by the board of directors based on a review of the minnesota council of nonprofits nonprofit salary and benefits survey. The president and several other board members led the board in a review of the executive director that included feedback from board and staff; the 2016 salary adjustment was approved by the board of directors in a closed session.”

We now call this engagement and advocacy as noted in the program accomplishments.we also renamed minneapolis bike week program to bicycle encouragement to reflect work that happens outside of bike week.”
