This form 990 was created by the executive director and the former treasurer, was reviewed and approved by the finance committee of the board of directors february 9, 2016, and was reviewed and approved by the board of directors march 8, 2016. The creation and approval process followed the organizations adopted financial policy.

Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12C

The board of directors and staff annual sign a form acknowledging the conflict of interest policy and declaring any conflicts. Forms were received for all directors and staff. One declared conflict of interest was monitored by the executive director and president and procedure was followed to mitigate, including previous open bid process for contract and executive committee review and approval of the contract with the conflicted director.

The salary range for the executive director was established by the board of directors based on a review of the minnesota council of nonprofits nonprofit salary and benefits survey. The president and vice president led the board in a 360-degree review of the executive director and the 2015 salary adjustment was approved by the board of directors in a closed session.

Minneapolis bicycle coalition governing documents, conflict of interest policy, and financial statements are all available to the public upon request. The financial statement is included as part of the organizations annual report, which will be publicly available online.

WE ALSO CONTINUED TO SUPPORT ENGAGEMENT ON A POTENTIAL NORTH MINNEAPOLIS GREENWAY. AND WE ENGAGED DOZENS OF STAKEHOLDERS AROUND THE CITY COMPLETE STREETS POLICY, WHICH IS STILL IN PROGRESS.
