Some of the strategies include: 1) An expansion of the Board of Directors and Advisory Board to increase the number of individuals contributing directly to E+O. The Board of Directors and Advisory Board will be play a strong role in the research and cultivation of major donors and corporate and private foundations.2) During 2014, E+O development sent its first electronic newsletter with an end of year appeal. During 2015 and in subsquent years, there we be at least two newsletters with appeals.3) Efforts to increase the email lists with the goal of an expansion of the number of smaller and medium sized donors contributing to E+O.4) Now that E+O has designed, developed and optimized their prototypes and rolled out more than 30 models, the Organization has aggressively increased efforts to retain and renew all foundation and corporate relationships (currently all grantors have renewed their grants for 2015-2016) as well as increase the foundation and corporate pipeline to increase this funding stream. We expect great growth to be seen over 2015-2017.5) E+O has signed up for various giving portals such as Benevity and Amazon Smile.6) E+O has refreshed their website and expanded social media efforts through Facebook.7) E+O is exploring expanding its funding model to include licensing its Housing Intellectual Property, which could help to fullfill the mission as well as contribute to the long-term financial sustainability of the Organization.All of these efforts demonstrate that E+O is a publically supported Organization with the goal to significantly increase the number and diversity of public support over the next 3-5 years. It is also noted that E+O was formed in 2009, which had less than 3 months of operations for the Organization. E+O also receives a signficant amount of Contributed Services that are not included in Contributions or as part of the public support test per the Form 990 Instructions. The Organization received Contributed Services of $297,000 during 2014 and $1,776,834 in Contributed Services since inception. |
