The organization has an Executive Committee that consists of the Board President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and one Board Director. The Executive Committee has the following roles and responsibilities: -Represent and act on behalf of the corporation and to make recommendations to the board of directors for its approval; -Coordinate, receive and act upon the activities and general policies of the various functions of the corporation and to make appropriate recommendations to the board of directors; -To receive and act upon reports and make recommendations from other committees of the corporation; -To implement the policies adopted by the board of directors of the corporation; -To make recommendations on the corporation management matters to the board of directors; -To act as a nominating committee for the corporation if so directed by the board of directors; -Conduct such other functions delegated by the board of directors;

Compensation amounts determined for the chief executive officer are compared to other health facilities and organizations as well as experience and evaluation on an annual basis.

IRS990/Desc0Northland PACE program was incorporated January 4, 2008, to engage in the business of providing all-inclusive care for the elderly (PACE) services in accordance with the PACE program agreement. The PACE services are an all-inclusive set of services to meet the healthcare needs of the frail elderly as defined by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) in the PACE regulations. Those services include but are not limited to primary and preventive care, specialty care, vision and dental care, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, mental and social health, physical, occupational and speech therapies and other services to maintain the health of the plan participants. The project target population is the frail elderly over 55 population, which averages 15-35% of the service area's population. The project is designed to develop a network-based PACE program in seven rural areas in three phases over a period of three years. While PACE has mostly been implemented in urban communities nationally, this PACE project will use a sophisticated telehealth conferencing system and an electronic medical record system to launch this rural health project in coordination with local providers to deliver a full spectrum of health care services to this frail elderly population in the seven rural areas.
