“Wwii weekend: infoage displayed a special pearl harbor exhibit which included an artifact from the u.s.s. Arizona donated by the family of a deceased nj veteran who survived the attack on december 7, 1941; also exhibited were german and japanese battle flags signed by members of the units that captured them. A striking new "wwii leaders" mannequin exhibit featuring churchill, hitler, stalin, hirohito and mussolini was opened; the roosevelt mannequin was not available for the weekend. Also highlighted were realistic wwii battle dioramas; a wwii home front living room, and national archives wwii commemorative posters. A wwii artist exhibit showed the works of us marine corps colonel charles waterhouse, the former "usmc artist in residence", the first and only person to earn such recognition, and ugo giannini, a wwii infantryman who drew pencil drawings of combat in the 29th infantry division. Our many other ww ii displays and exhibits were available to visitors. Develop: as a former army top secret r&d site, establish an interactive hands-on learning center focused on the evolution and preservation of communications, electronics and related technologies developed here and elsewhere. At the end of 2019 infoage received a 3:2 matching grant from the nj historic trust capital grant to begin the restoration of the two marconi era cottages. This will include power-washing the brick buildings and scraping and painting three garages and the cottages' exterior woodwork. The work will commence in the spring of 2020. We also received a general operating support grant from the new jersey historical commission some of which funds will be used to begin the restoration of building 9010b, the future radar museum/pavilion. A generous donation from an infoage board member enabled us to completely restore the original 1940's camp evans flagpole. Wall township, our leaseholder continues to support our efforts to restore and repair this national historic landmark. In 2019 they provided other in-kind support such as snow plowing, landscaping, tree trimming, and debris removal. History of the site camp evans was once the 1914 marconi belmar trans-atlantic wireless station which opened world-wide wireless communications. It played an important role in wwi trans-atlantic communications and was the first campus of the king's college. Beginning in 1941 when the army located on the site, camp evans played a key role the development of radar as an effective wwii secret weapon; it opened space communications in 1946; it was a cold war technology site; and it was a nuclear weapons research site. It was the birthplace of satellite-based hurricane tracking, was a pre-nasa space research site, and is a black history site. Infoage (www.infoage.com) took over 37 acres of camp evans in 2006 which now serves as our campus. Under the infoage umbrella are many 501c3 organizations that support infoage's mission by showing how science, technology, engineering and math contribute to their specific disciples or areas of interest. These include radio communications, rail and maritime transportation, computers, military technology, robotics, and space exploration. In addition, these organizations have over $7,000,000 worth of artifacts, equipment exhibits, and hands-on and interactive displays at our campus. Some statistics: during 2019 we had over 13,500 visitors and our volunteers contributed over 45,500 hours of their time to infoage and its organizations. This was a slight drop from 2018 as we discontinued our halloween fundraiser which resulted in a drop of visitors and volunteer hours. In addition, we had 53,381 hits on our isec (infoage space exploration center) site and 25,673 on our infoage website. The wall township environmental advisory committee/green team awarded infoage their green business recognition program certificate of certification for our efforts in protecting our ecosystem and they acknowledged us as being "green initiative friendly". “We are proud that in 2019 we continued to support and further develop our three sub-missions. Examples are as follows: inspire: as a national historic landmark, inspire people - especially children - to learn and appreciate information technology to improve their lives and career opportunities. Infoage continues to expand on its history as the site that opened up space communications via project diana in 1946 with three distinct programs centered on space and space exploration: space exploration week: the "space exploration week" summer program for school age children from first through twelfth grade continues to be a huge success. This year we provided fifteen "scholarships" to the children of financially disadvantaged families from asbury park, neptune and wall township, nj. They studied the earth, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe, rocketry, and outer space observation. The culmination of the week long program presented the students with the opportunity to record them bouncing their voices off the moon using our 60 foot tlm 18 radio telescope. The 60 year old tlm 18 was restored to operating condition in 2016 by infoage, princeton university and the harris corporation. Space exploration lecture series: this annual presentation was initiated in 2018 to bring in speakers that present the exploration of outer space. Astronauts, astronomers, astrophysicists, and others were and will continue to be among our guest speakers. The intent is to engage the interested public - especially college bound students - on stem topics that range from the study of the universe to walking on distant planets, and beyond. In 2018, the first speaker in the series was ms. Alice bowman, the mission operations manager for the nasa new horizons mission to pluto. She is the first woman to fill that role at the applied physics laboratory, taking on the position in 2002 specifically for the duration of the three billion mile space journey. The presenter for 2019 was ms. Kim arcand, visualization and emerging technology lead for nasa's flagship chandra x-ray observatory. She spoke to a full house on "how to color the universe in 2d and 3d: a supernova in the constellation of cassiopeia" - 11 thousand light years away. Spaceflight lecture series: this series of monthly lectures and discussions at the infoage space exploration center (isec) are presented by a nasa ambassador and infoage volunteer. This year he addressed subjects such as "the moons of jupiter and saturn", "returning to the moon: project artemis", "dining in space", and in june, on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, "the epic voyage of apollo 11". Over 625 students from 12 schools - grammar schools through rensselaer polytechnic institute - and over 475 lakewood, nj non-sectarian students conducted class visits to our campus where docents introduced them to the science and technology behind today's modern technologies. Students were introduced to the history of electronic communication and its evolution to the computers, cell phones, etc. That are part of their daily life in this modern age. Infoage volunteers are currently adding one exhibit and revamping another exhibit which is expected to open in 2020. The first is the "new jersey 9-11 tribute center and the second is the "lenape presence". "nj 9-11 tribute center": members of infoage are in the process of completing an extensive 9/11 exhibit dedicated to honor the men and women from new jersey who responded to the aftermath of the attack on the world trade center. It features ground zero dioramas, uniforms worn by nj responders, artifacts, photos and much more. We are high lighting operations conducted by nj firefighters, police, national guard, iron workers, and fort monmouth engineering teams after the attack. The exhibit will be completed during the summer of 2020. We are expanding our "the lenape presence" exhibit to "the lenni-lenape native americans, european colonization and independence". The exhibit will now incl”

| IRS990ScheduleD/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | WE ARE PROUD THAT IN 2019 WE CONTINUED TO SUPPORT AND FURTHER DEVELOP OUR THREE SUB-MISSIONS. THE EXHIBIT WILL NOW INCL |
