“NJIO concluded its 30th Season at the end of June 2024. NJIO held its full complement of 4 free community concerts in FY24. Two of the concerts featured winners of NJIOs Young Artist Concerto Competition playing with the Symphony Orchestra. Three NJIO ensembles- Prelude,Intermezzo, and Symphony-participated in the 4 concerts, with the Family Holiday concert featuring a combined ensemble and an Instrument Petting Zoo at the end of the concert. One of the live concerts was also made available via Livestream to broaden the reach.”

“NJIOs Outreach Ensemble performed 7 times at varied locations around the state, bringing NJIO music to less accessible venues such as retirements homes,senior centers,and hospitals as well as community groups such as libraries. These performances are less than one hour and feature light classical and pop music that often bring back mmories to the audience.”

“NJIO offered a summer program to the community that focused on developing string player repertoire.”
