In addition to the right to elect directors and such other powers and rights as vested in them by law, the certificate of incorporation, or nethope's bylaws, the members shall have such other powers and rights as the board of directors may designate.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0THE CENTER FOR THE DIGITAL NONPROFITTHROUGH COLLABORATION, THE CENTER FOR THE DIGITAL NONPROFIT BRINGS TOGETHER THE EXPERTISE OF THE TECHNOLOGY SECTOR WITH THE ON-THE-GROUND EXPERIENCE OF NONPROFITS TO CREATE A FOUNDATION FOR FORWARD-LOOKING ORGANIZATIONS TO DELIVER AID, RELIEVE SUFFERING, AND BUILD HOPE. IT WAS CREATED AS A NETHOPE PROGRAM IN 2017. THE CENTER BELIEVES THAT THE GROWING NEEDS FROM NONPROFITS CAN GUIDE THE RESPONSIBLE DESIGN OF TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND THAT THROUGH TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL WAYS OF WORKING NONPROFITS CAN INCREASE CAPACITY TO ACHIEVE THEIR MISSION WITH THE SAME OR FEWER RESOURCES. IN THE PAST TWO YEARS, THE CENTER HAS HELPED 36 NONPROFITS REPRESENTING $20B IN ANNUAL EXPENDITURES. THE CENTER STARTED BY CREATING DIAGNOSTICS THAT ENABLE ALL NONPROFITS TO BENCHMARK AGAINST EACH OTHER. THE DIGITAL NONPROFIT ABILITY (DNA) HAS BEEN COMPLETED BY MORE THAN 130 NONPROFITS AND SOME NETHOPE MEMBERS ARE USING AN EXTENDED VERSION OF IT, THE DNA+, TO SHAPE THEIR STRATEGIC DECISIONS AND RISK MANAGEMENT, AND COMPARE COUNTRY PROGRAMS TO EACH OTHER. THE DIGITAL NONPROFIT SKILLS FRAMEWORK AND DIGITAL NONPROFIT SKILLS ASSESSMENTS HAVE ASSISTED MANY NETHOPE MEMBERS TO UNDERSTAND AND FILL GAPS IN DIGITAL SKILLS. SKILLS.NETHOPE.ORG WAS CREATED AS A PILOT PLATFORM TO AGGREGATE EXISTING CONTENT WITH LITTLE EFFORT FOR USE BY NONPROFITS IN LOW-INFRASTRUCTURE PLACES. DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IS BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND 16 NETHOPE MEMBERS REIMAGINED PARTS OF THEIR PROGRAMS THROUGH THE CENTER'S IDEA JOURNEY WHICH WE MADE PUBLIC TO ALL NONPROFITS IN 2019. IT HAS SINCE BEEN USED BY NONPROFITS OUTSIDE OF NETHOPE. THROUGH THE IDEA JOURNEY, NETHOPE MEMBERS INNOVATED ON IMPORTANT PROGRAMS SUCH AS REFUGEE INTEGRATION, HEALTHCARE DELIVERY AND FRONTLINE HUMANITARIAN LOGISTICS.FOUNDING PARTNERS OF THE CENTER INCLUDE: MICROSOFT, OKTA, BLACKBAUD, BOX, ORACLE NETSUITE, AVANADE AND SALESFORCE. EACH HAS SIGNALED ITS INTENTION TO PLAY BOTH A STRATEGIC AND PRACTICAL ROLE, BRINGING DISTINCTIVE STRENGTHS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO THE COLLABORATION THROUGH INVESTMENTS OF MONEY, PRODUCTS, AND PEOPLE EXPERTISE.
