The Human Resource Director will obtain research and information to make a recommendation to the full board for the compensation (salary and benefits) of the Executive Director, and other highly compensated employees or consultants, based on the review and comparability data. The HR director will secure data that documents compensation levels and benefits for similarly qualified individuals in comparable positions at similar organizations. To approve the compensation for the Executive Director (and other highly compensated employees and consultants) the Board must document how it reached its decisions, including the data on which it relied, in minutes of the meeting during which the compensation was approved. The Chair of the Board of Directors, who is a volunteer and not compensated by Love Without Boundaries, will operate independently in guiding discussions, without undue influence from the Executive Director.”

In 2024, we provided 2,563 medical procedures for orphaned and impoverished children, including 107 life-saving heart surgeries. Two additional highlights included our international cleft trip to Antigua, Guatemala, where 52 children had life-changing cleft lip and palate surgery, as well as our Uganda Pediatric Surgery Camps, which provided operations for 928 children who had waited months, and even years, for the medical care they needed. |
