The orleans county fair association (ocfa), founded in 1867, in barton, vermont, was formed of local farmers and businessman who wanted to bring the community together to socialize and celebrate at an annual county fair. The fair is now held each year in august. The ocfa continues to embrace agricultural history and has grown to meet the 21st centry with events that appeal to all ages. With the continued support of out community, state, and the many visitors, ocfa intends to provide a meeting place for a wide variety of events that will keep people coming back to the orleans county fairgrounds for years to come.
