The Organization has also been classified as an entity that is not a private foundation within the meaning of Section 509(a) and qualifies for deductible contributions. The Organization follows FASB ASC, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, which clarifies the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes and prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for financial statement recognition and measurement of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. There was no liability recorded on the Organization's financial statements related to the Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes. The Organization's Federal Form 990 (Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax) for 2007, 2008, and 2009 are subject to examination by the IRS, generally for three years after they are filed.
