“Upon hiring of the executive director, compensation of similarly sized non-profits in the behavioral health field were looked at, to determine what they are paying for salary. The tenure of those other executive directors was also taken into consideration when determining the compensation of the organizations executive director. After hiring, the executive director receives the same salary increases as all staff of the organization, which is typically a cost of living increase.”

Management has evaluated day one's tax positions and concluded that as of june 30, 2018 and 2017, day one does not believe that it has taken any tax positions that would require the recording of any additional tax liability nor does it believe that there are any unrealized tax benefits that would either increase or decrease within the next 12 months.
