Asian Pacific Islanders Equality API EqualityAPI Equality, a project of CAA, is committed to working within the API community for equal marriage rights, fair treatment, and overall acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people. API Equality engages in public education, community organizing, and legal and legislative advocacy. API Equalitys goals are twofold: To reduce and eliminate prejudice and oppression based on gender and/or sexual orientation in the diverse ethnic communities of the API populace; and To combat and eliminate racial-based or xenophobic prejudice and oppression in the LGBTQI community.

California State Advocacy Office CA Legislative OfficeThe CA State Advocacy Office (CA Legislative Office), is a collaborative project of Chinese for Affirmative Action, the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, and the Asian Law Caucus. CA Legislative Office is a progressive voice advocating for justice in California. As the first and only project based in Californias capital with a focus on state legislative and budget advocacy for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, CA Legislative Office fights for critical legislation and funding on behalf of low-income, immigrant, and underserved communities, and empowers APIs to be an active and effective force in advancing civil rights and social justice.
