Asset management services since 2001, housing development center has emerged as a leader in affordable-housing asset management. Our asset management team guides clients through the challenges of owning and managing affordable housing and related community services facilities, helping to ensure both the short-term and long-term success of these projects. We provide technical assistance and training to nonprofit organizations, housing authorities, and governmental entities in oregon, washington, and elsewhere in the united states. Housing development center has helped 42 project owners preserve and improve the viability of more than 20,000 units of affordable housing, as well as implement ongoing systems for effective asset management and oversight. Housing development center's asset management services include property and portfolio assessments, property and portfolio repositioning, property transfers and year 15 exits, capital needs assessments and reserve analyses, and staff and board training and systems development.

Activity 3

Hdc community fund hdc community fund llc was formed in august 2009 to provide funding and development services to underserved communities through loans to nonprofit entities and housing authorities to develop or redevelop housing and facilities that serve primarily low-income communities and residents. To date the loan fund has helped finance eight projects with seven loans totaling 961,000. Our support has leveraged more than 55.4 million in additional financing sources and will provide 445 units of affordable housing and 79,400 sq. Ft. Of service-facility space to families and individuals with incomes below 60% ami.
