Activity 2

Asset management services the asset management services program helps ensure that communities reap enduring benefits from investments in affordable housing. Since 2001, hdc has worked with community development organizations, housing authorities, and funding partners to strengthen faltering properties, preserve viable ones, and support the long-term financial and physical health of affordable housing and community facilities. We provide training, technical assistance, and direct asset management. We sponsor the asset management portfolio preservation (ampp) curriculum, facilitate the property and asset management working group, and have lead the asset management compliance initiative, a statewide coordinated property inspection and reporting system for affordable housing owners.

Activity 3

Hdc community fund hdc community fund llc was formed in august 2009 to provide funding and development services to underserved communities through loans to nonprofit entities and housing authorities to develop or redevelop housing and facilities that serve primarily low-income communities and residents. To date the loan fund has helped finance five projects with six loans totaling 470,000. Our support has leveraged more than 73 million in permanent financing sources and will provide 290 units of affordable housing and 25,000 sq. Ft. Of service-facility space to families and individuals with incomes below 60% ami.
