Mission

An engaged community, united for a healthy Tualatin, free from drug & alcohol abuse.

Program Services

DescriptionGrantsExpenses
Tualatin is a suburb of Portland, Oregon nestled in by the Tualatin River and is called home by some 26,000 residents. Of those 26,000 approximately 20% are Latino, 20% are over 65 and there is a diverse divide in income, values and education levels. The community is bustling with business' and 80% of the people who work in Tualatin, do not reside in Tualatin thus making the Chamber of Commerce strong between business' but lacks in strength often when seeing core values and need for social norm definition. Tualatin Together is focused on increasing our business sector and has been taking steps towards that end through joining the chamber, being visible at chamber activities and working to volunteer and support local business' as much as possible. We also partner heavily with the high school and have been again at Grad Night while serving on the committee, being active in their parent organization at all 5 schools (3 elementary, 1 middle & 1 high). We hosted a Launch...The Next Chapter where parents and high school students learned skills to navigate life by working on their own value statement as well as life skills such as CPR, what is the FASTFA, scholarship opportunities and more. Again, including local businesses was key in this event. The spring is heavily focused on National Prevention Week where our coalition and student group did PSA's & community campaign, elected new officers and have been actively working with the youth over the summer to insure a successful 2017-18 run at both the high school and now a club in our middle school with an advisor which we have worked hard on and are very proud of.$146,986-
