Smith hall, inc. Is organized under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization. Tax years 2013 through 2016 are open for examination by federal and state taxing authorities. Management has evaluated its tax positions for years ended september 30, 2014 through 2017 in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the united states and has determined its tax positions are more likely than not to be upheld upon audit.
