“In 2018, world carp inc. Held 4 x major quarterly leadership training conferences, 13 x monthly team building alignment workshops, and 16 volunteer service programs were accomplished throughout the year. 2017 new yearwinter leadership conference was held january 1-7, 2018 at new jersey family church, north haledon, about 45 volunteers and guests were invited to participate. Mr. Gerry servito, leader of family federation of north america hq was invited as guest lecturer, he presented 6 hours of lecture about moral education of universality and individuality 'leadership for peace- and 'coaching', and rev. Daeyeon goo, foreign missionary in solomon islands, he presented village development of solomon islands and primary school and vocational school building project. We had team speech contest about two topics: "how to achieve peace- and "importance of family value" in the end we had cultural night show by 10 different nationalities, all participants shared their own countries' culture show, we enjoyed and understood difference among them, this program was designed to promote peace and harmony beyond races and religions. And all participants had yuk (korean traditional game) game competition team by team and the conference was concluded to set 2018 vision, mission, and executive goal. January 15, 2018, martin luther king, jr. Day, 3 volunteer service projects were held in atlanta, ga: raleigh, nc: jacksonville, fl.: total 45 volunteers served jointly with 120 local community volunteers. Spring leadership conference was held at great smoky mountain national park, pigeon forge, tn from april 7 - 11, 2018, and 40 volunteers and staffs participated in leadership training conference and team building program, rev. Abayomi was invited as guest lecturer and he gave presentation of family value in bible and he shared testimony of his family life. And all volunteers visited alcatraz east museum of crime, pigeon forge, tn and smoky national park, sevierville, tn and hiked mountain, all could understand american crime history in the museum. And they realize the value and beauty of nature and learn how american preserve and protect the environment. April 22, 2018 global youth service day four peace design service projects were conducted: "the village helpers" with adults in special needs how to make paper cranes, boats, and airplanes, humble, tx: earth day park cleaning service with "central arkansas trail alliance", little rock, ak; earth day cleaning service at "mac rae park" in des moines , ia: "harriman state park cleaning service", south fields, ny. All 43 volunteers have attended and 75 us local community residents have joined together, the volunteers practiced how to organize and coordinate sustainable peace design projects with local communities and other ngo organizations. Summer leadership adventure workshop was held from july 14 to july 20, 2018 at porter house, rexburg, id, total 45volunteers and guests have participated, dr. Frank kaufman was invited as main lecturer, he presented about ownership, creation, life course and restoration, and all volunteers visited grand teton national park and yellowstone national park, they had chance to learn the history of american national park including yellowstone national park and understand ecology system of nature how important to preserve nature. Fall workshop was held in great smoky national park gatlinburg, tn, from october 4 to october 10, 2018. Total 41 volunteers and guests participated, ms. Naaria, leader of youth and students for peace usa, was invited as lecturer and presented peace design program as sustainable development project and ms. Merly, wfwp philippines, was invited as guest speaker, she gave lecture about "attributes of true love- and testimony of her life of faith rise up and down. 3 peace design projects were made on make difference day, october 28, 2018: "pumpkin pedaler event", columbus, oh: "dia de los muertos parade and festival" with cazateatro bilingual theater”
