“Program Service Expenses 15,470, Grants and allocations 0, Revenue 0 Credit Study. CENTS undertook a credit study with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. This is a national study that will address cancer-related hardship through delivery of a proactive financial navigation intervention. CENTS created worksheets and forms for patients/participants and training documents for volunteers. CENTS worked out the study protocol and the system to match patients with volunteer counselors. CENTS also recruited financial and legal mentors to consult witrh study counselors when additional expertise or advise was needed. The protocol for accessing mentors was designed as well.”

“Program Service Expenses 3,831, Grants and allocations 0, Revenue 0 Financial Planning for Cancer. This is the program to pair cancer patients with volunteer financial planners. CENTS performed outreach at camver hospitals and cancer organizations.Fourteen patients were assigned to planners.”

This program helps parents of K-12 familes plan for their choldrens future higher education by helpong them assess how they can save money and/or reduce the costs of future higher education expenses. CENTS created a presentation and performed an outreach campaign to 17 high school teachers, 6 financial/public education organizations and 14 school counselors.”
