Also, our eating recovery program offers hope for over 50 individuals with severe or even life-threatening eating disorders who may have experienced abuse or major trauma. The consequences of these events are devastating, and may result in a shattered sense of self-worth including a higher fatality rate than any other. Our staff consists of a dietitian and counseling team that addresses the individual's trauma and abuse, teaching them how to care for and nourish their body. This team leads adults and children to recovery and restores self-confidence through an evidence-based practice called acceptance & commitment therapy (act).

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

The relatives raising children kinship care program provides information, resources and advocacy to strengthen caregivers and keep 593 families intact by lending support to caregivers who are raising a relative's child. We provide families with information on key community resources and referral to our healing hearts program for trauma or emotional issues. Clients have access to our basic needs bank - hope's closet, and receive direct assistance for immediate and crucial needs. 95% of our clients live below the federal poverty line and services are available to pierce county residents at no cost.
