“Spring forest qigong provides people throughout the world with the knowledge and tools to experience and share the beautiful and powerful fact that each and every one of us is born a healer with the natural ability to help ourselves to heal and to help others to heal, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We accomplish this through: empowering individuals to understand themselves in a deeper level to realize they do have the power to heal themselves and to help others to heal. Teaching modern applications of ancient wisdom to enrich peoples lives and provide them with the knowledge, techniques and support to put their natural healing abilities to use. Assisting individuals in opening their hearts and discovering their inner creative power to transform and to heal. Promoting a nurturing environment of continuous improvement encouraging everyone to fulfill their true potential. Developing new, innovative approaches for wellness improvement establishing spring forest qigong as a global community in service to each other and our world. Demonstrating there is no wrong way to practice spring forest qigong exercises and meditations, we follow the principle that everything you do in your practice is good, better, best”

“The spring forest qigong institute continues to focus its attention building a stronger foundation for its three main activity areas in this non-profit organization: 1. Educational programs, 2. Educational outreach, and 3. Educational training. It continues to pursuit a course of development that supports master chunyi lin's primary message and vision: "everyone is born a healer- and "a healer in every family, a world without pain and suffering." one area of activity in 2018 was working with the energy healing international, a school licensed under the minnesota board of education, which serves as the primary certification instrument. This structure has four certification programs: 1) certified practice group leaders, 2) certified level i trainer, 3) certified healer, 4) certified instructor. It is in the strategic design to have the energy healing international separate itself from the for-profit spring forest qigong organization, and assume complete financial, programmatic and independent responsibilities. Glenn tobey, acting chair of the sfqi, participated in the program development and training of these teachers. There are over two hundred certified practice group leaders, twenty five certified level i trainers, and twenty certified instructors who can reach out to populations in need, in a flexible manner. There have been a total of twenty full days of training for the various certifications. Another area of activity in 2018 was establishing an informal advisory group who went around the country, in their own neighborhoods, talking about sfqi and looking at different approaches to particular populations. They have considered using the linking tool of zoom conferencing to conduct organizing meetings in 2019. There have been eight people conducting these conversations. There continues to be some financial contributions from various individuals, mostly in response to a generic newsletter. There was no specific outreach or financial campaign in 2018.”
