KV 265 is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the communication of science through art. KV 265 works with composers, visual artists, and scientists to create original multimedia works which get presented in concerts with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles.

KV 265 is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the communication of science through art. KV 265 works with composers, visual artists, and scientists to create original multimedia works which get presented in concerts with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles. KV 265 has created 10 of these Science & Symphony productions which have been presented in 215 concerts and 168 lectures, reaching more than 400,000 people in Illinois, across the U.S. and abroad. Four of these works have been recognized by UNESCO, and KV 265 has received two NEA grants. Orchestra commissions have included: Grant Park Symphony; Boston Pops; Pacific Symphony, and three collaborations with Chicago Sinfonietta.KV 265 is a leading purveyor of STEAM programming in Illinois and the rest of the nation through its Science & Symphony concerts and related educational lectures and workshops.
