“In 2023, acdc helped out more than 120 microbusinesses. Through the organization's dedication, support, and advocacy and those of our community, we are proud that as a result of our work, in just 3 years and despite the challenges of the pandemic, 100% of businesses that have participated in this signature resiliency program have been retained. We continue to capitalize on the current moment to innovate and act on practices that will have the greatest impact in building economic stability and resiliency toward these aims despite the unrelenting pressures at hand. In from 2020 to 2023 acdc has completed or secured: - over 300 hours of listening and community engagement to identify needs and pinpoint adequate solutions; - over 6,000 hours of technical assistance were provided to locally owned small businesses on the 17th avenue commercial corridor (1,040 alone in 2023.; -over 100 local, national, and international partners and collaborators are assisting us in implementing our selected strategies and continuing ongoing research; -over 4.25 million secured in access to capital for allapattah's small businesses (500,000 in 2023).”
