Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Resilient cities catalyst, inc.'s (rcc) mission is catalytic change to help cities solve their most pressing challenges

Resilient cities catalyst is a nonprofit that was founded in 2019 by members of the 100 resilient cities (100rc) leadership team. Building on the pioneering legacy of 100rc, and in partnership with a community of urban resilience actors, rcc is helping cities build the capacities and partnerships needed to understand, prioritize and concretely address their risks and chronic stresses as they pursue their strategic goals or recover from a crisis.the continued impact of covid, climate shocks, and the ongoing and ever more urgent need to address inequality have made it clear that an inclusive and innovative approach is essential to better understanding our risks and to leveraging opportunities to create the greatest benefit for our communities.the significant and sustained attention on these challenges globally through commitments made at cop26, covid recovery funding or the recent bipartisan infrastructure bill gives us a generational opportunity to partner with communities a
