The Gilroy Rodeo Association (GRA) is organized exclusively for the purpose of educating the public and informing the youth of Santa Clara County and surrounding areas in the art and history of the cowboy and cowgirl rodeo and about agricultural matters. This purpose is accomplished by GRA hosting an annual, family-friendly rodeo and events that educates and entertains the public, supports Santa Clara County youth, showcases Western heritage and provides year-round educational support within the community. The Gilroy Rodeo Association is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit public benefit corporation. It is in pursuit of these goals that GRA sponsors annual public fairs, exhibitions, rodeos and other special events. These events offer the public a unique opportunity to be exposed to and informed about the many areas of agriculture including livestock breeding and improvement of breeds, horticulture, horses, poultry, swine and resource management and conservation.
