The executive director negotiated salary with former leadership of project pilgrimage, based on previous salary at the university of washington. Initially, project pilgrimage was housed at the university of washington in the dept of communication. It was run by a professor and chair of the department. The executive director was employed by the uw. Moving forward, project pilgrimage will use benchmark data gathered and assessed based on eds at similarly sized organizations, focused on a similar mission statements to determine the executive director's salary.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4B

General program : community building activities are offered to the full project pilgrimage alumni base, as well as events that are open to the broader community in the seattle area. This past year, project pilgrimage collaborated on a community event with town hall of seattle, the office of arts and culture, local community members and project pilgrimage alumni to bring author, activist and educator michael "quess" moore to speak to a packed house of 400 people. Project pilgrimage also held an event in collaboration with washington hall to learn how to interrupt racism in real life events, through the practice of theatre of the oppressed. Approximately 150 people were in attendance. We also hosted a book reading for our pilgrimage historian, dr. Terry scott, who's book explores activism and athletics in the seattle region. Basketball star, lenny wilkins was in attendance and featured at this event.

Conversions across difference: at project pilgrimage we are called to action in continuing the work started by our leaders. We are committed to interracial intergenerational dialogue to strengthen and diversify our community. We facilitate conversations centering the realities of racial divisions, where inequities and systems in our culture are confronted and explored. Conversations that center storytelling and sharing as a way forward in understanding ourselves and our community. Sharing these spaces, together, helps us make that progress towards healing and creating the rich and diverse community we all crave.

THIS PAST YEAR, PROJECT PILGRIMAGE COLLABORATED ON A COMMUNITY EVENT WITH TOWN HALL OF SEATTLE, THE OFFICE OF ARTS AND CULTURE, LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND PROJECT PILGRIMAGE ALUMNI TO BRING AUTHOR, ACTIVIST AND EDUCATOR MICHAEL "QUESS" MOORE TO SPEAK TO A PACKED HOUSE OF 400 PEOPLE. PROJECT PILGRIMAGE ALSO HELD AN EVENT IN COLLABORATION WITH WASHINGTON HALL TO LEARN HOW TO INTERRUPT RACISM IN REAL LIFE EVENTS, THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF THEATRE OF THE OPPRESSED. APPROXIMATELY 150 PEOPLE WERE IN ATTENDANCE. WE ALSO HOSTED A BOOK READING FOR OUR PILGRIMAGE HISTORIAN, DR. TERRY SCOTT, WHO'S BOOK EXPLORES ACTIVISM AND ATHLETICS IN THE SEATTLE REGION. BASKETBALL STAR, LENNY WILKINS WAS IN ATTENDANCE AND FEATURED AT THIS EVENT.

THE SERIES OF 4 DINNERS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES CONSISTED OF 10-12 PARTICIPANTS AT 20 DIFFERENT DINNER TABLES IN ALABAMA, MARYLAND, CALIFORNIA AND WASHINGTON. PROJECT PILGRIMAGE PROVIDED THE AGENDA AND COMMUNITY BUILDING EXERCISES TO BE USED DURING THE INDIVIDUAL DINNERS. WE RECEIVED RAVE REVIEWS AND A LOT OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS.
