“Liabilities at the beginning of 2021: These are the gross amounts due in salaries earned during 2019 and 2020 and the employer portion of the FICA that will be due when these amounts are paid. In April 2019, the SASS Go Board of Directors approved salaries for three employees (Shannon Henry, Lisa Ewart, and Brett Brown). These three employees worked full time and their salaries accrued, but they were not paid in 2019 and were only paid a portion of the gross amounts due in 2020. These three employees will be paid the remaining amounts owed at such time as the organization has the necessary funds. Liabilities at the end of 2021: These three employees continued to work full time during fiscal year 2021 and were only paid a small portion of their salaries. The additional liabilities in 2021 reflect the unpaid portion of their salaries that have accrued and the associated employer FICA that will be paid at such time as the employees are paid. These individuals will be paid the remaining amounts owed at such time as the organization has the necessary funds.”
