What began as a vibrant but small coalition is now an independent, immigrant-led non-profit organization.”

The opening of an emergency shelter for single asylum seekers in portland the joint operation of creating a 179-bed shelter for individuals seeking asylum represents a huge step forward in our shared vision of addressing homelessness and ensuring a more effective and equitable distribution of resources available to members of our communities, with services catered to the unique subset of the population who need them.
