Which we tirelessly promote financial literacy in populations we serve. In 2015, we were particularly involved in the idaho military financial alliance, we promoted financial literacy at booths (for example: military family day at the boise zoo) and on the base for military personnel and their families. During 2015, all income received and all expenditures incurred by the organization were for the successful implementation of the following programs and services: everyday money series of webinars - this eight-part series of 27- to 57- minute online workshops, free and open to the public, addresses key financial topics, ranging from financial direction and goals to budgets, also building credit to eliminating debt, and from savings strategies to relationships and money. Real solutions series of webinars - this four-part series of one-hour online workshops, free and open to the public, offers four core financial education topics revolving around debt reduction services inc's mission, including personal and household budgeting, developing effective spending habits, using credit wisely, and preventing and eliminating excessive consumer debt. In 2015, 107 separate webinars were successfully completed by individuals referred by housing authorities, property managment companies, colleges, and non-profit agencies or who found the organization online themselves. Individual client counseling - during these one-on-one counseling sessions an individual is taught principles relating to the management of their financial lives including: how to determine their net income and their expense limits, how to set up and maintain a budget, how to make necessary lifestyle changes, how their credit score affects their life and how to manage one's credit report and score. If needed, a debt management program is created and implemented. These meetings occur either face-to-face, telephone or online. These counseling sessions were held with more than 17,429 individuals during 2015. Language-specific programs - the organization offers its financial literacy workshops, materials and brochures in spanish in order to better serve the hispanic population. Debt reduction services inc. Has developed dozens of educational seminars, printed several educational brochures, and designed numerous worksheets and handouts in english and spanish. All are made available to the clients and public at no cost to them. Our four-part series of seminars, four of our brochures and their corresponding handouts and materials were previously translated into spanish, and are available at no charge to workshop participants and agency clients. In 2015, debt reduction services inc translated and published a free budgeting webinar on its website, in addition to facilitating two workshops for 30 spanish speakers and another seven workshops to 222 low-income, non-english speaking resettled refugees in the boise area. These presentations were attended by native speakers of swahili, arabic, french, spanish, russian, nepalese, bantu, karen, and somali, with translators working with each language group. Idaho financial literacy coalition - this is the state chapter of the jump tart coalition for personal financial literacy, which promotes financial literacy among youth and at risk populations. In 2015, the organization's director of education served as coalition president during the first quarter. Additionally, he represented the coalition at steering committees for idaho's first financial education summit planned for april 2016. Coalitions and associations - in 2015, the organization's director of education began his service as an elected member of the board of directors for the association for financial counseling and planning education. He also serves on the program coordinating committees for three southwestern idaho housing authorities. Through august, he was an elected board member of a local chamber of commerce. He is also a member of the public advisory committee for the boise school
