“The organization raises money to fund musical band(s) of youth in the middle east who play the steel drums. The money goes to pay instructors, buy/repair equipment and travel. The band(s) are comprised of jewish, muslim and christian youth.”

“2023 saw weekly steel drum numbers climb to 150 students per week taking classes. A workshop was scheduled for jan 2023 at the dead sea for 50 kids from the west bank and 50 kids from israel. This would have been the first time that a musical workshop happened across the border with kids this young. There were 50 participants. Unfortunately, the events of oct 7th and subsequent war prevented this activity. However, the numbers of weekly students have held steady throughout the year. The war has prevented any kind of travel or cross border meetings. The organization did hold a joint arab/jewish rehearsal for the kids who live in israel in may and sept of 2023.”
