“Promote and maintain a high standard of integrity and efficiency in the conduct of the restaurant business throughout the state of texas, and specifically in beaumont and the surrounding areas; foster and promote a feeling of goodwill and fraternal spirit amoung its members and to advance on broad and equitable lines the welfare and progress of the restaurant industry; maintain its chosen vocation amoung respected industries; oppose methods and practices inimical to the right conduct of the restaurant business; further promote harmonious relationships with allied industries; promote and assist in the enactment and inforcement of local, state and federal pure food and sanitation laws, and to otherwise promote and encourage better sanitation in the industry; desseminate useful information and inspire members to further educate themselves in the practical features of their business; encourage the participation of the association and its members in the community, state and civic activities; promote and encourage better service to the public, and the sales of appetizing and wholesome food, by the promulgation of modern and effective business principals; hold, when practicable, as an educational feature, a show or mini-exhibition of equipment, supplies, ets., which may be necessary in conducting the restaurant business; and engage in any lawful activities which will enhance the efficient and economic progress of the restaurant industry”

“Promote restaurant quality and make positive contributions to the community through fund-raising events that benefit local charities providing food and services to the needy and indigent, as well as to educational agencies/organizations benefiting the community - various charitable agencies/organizations benefited and ten young people who raised livestock that were sold/auctioned and the meat donated to local charities that provided meals for the needy and elderly in the community.”
