IRS990/Desc0Calhoun County Fair Association planned and sponsored a county fair for the residents of Calhoun County, TX . The county fair provides a venue for local youth that participate in 4-H and FFA to learn about and show animal projects that they then sell. The fair also has horticulture, art, photography, food and nutrician, clothing and agricultural displays for youth and adult. In addition the fair has a parade, pet show and various other events that allow as many people within our community as possible to participate. Over 5000 people were reached with the 5 day annual county fair that also had about 300 participants and 75 volunteers.
