PART X, LINE 2:

The association is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c) (6) of the internal revenue code, except for any unrelated business activities. Unrelated business income consists primarily of advertising revenues from publications and group purchasing and affinity program revenues. Management believes the association has no uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2017. The associations federal forms 990, return of organization exempt from income tax and forms 990-t, exempt organization business income tax returns, are subject to routine examination by the irs, generally for three years after they are filed. There are no examinations currently in progress.
