THE PURPOSE OF THE SOCIETY, AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, SHALL BE: TOIMPROVE COMPETENCE OF HUMAN RESOURCE PROFESSIONALS; TO RAISE THE STANDARDSOF PERFORMANCE IN ALL PHASES OF HUMAN RESOURCES; TO ENCOURAGE ADHERENCE TOTHE SOCIETY (OCHRS) AND THE SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT'S (SHRM)CODE OF ETHICS. TO ACHIEVE THE PURPOSE OF THE SOCIETY THERE SHALL BE NODISCRIMINATION IN INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS OR CHAPTER AFFILIATIONS BECAUSE OFRACE, RELIGION, SEX, AGE, NATIONAL ORIGIN, OR DISABILITY. THE SOCIETY ISORGANIZED AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR PROFESSIONAL, EDUCATIONAL,AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES. IN THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH PURPOSES, IT SHALL BEAUTHORIZED TO: A.
