Tax years open to examination by tax authorities under the statute of limitations include fiscal 2012 through 2015. Points of Light has a policy to record interest and penalties (if any) related to income tax matters in income tax expense. Points of Light has applied the more likely than not criterion to all the tax positions for which the statute of limitations remain open and has determined that the tax positions satisfy such criterion and that no provision for income taxes is required for the years ended September 30, 2015 or 2014.”
