Principal activities human services network, inc. D/b/a meals on wheels south florida (the "organization") is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and was incorporated on september 17, 1984, under the laws of the state of florida. In the beginning, the organization was primarily founded for the purpose of contracting for older americans act (oaa) senior nutrition program funding through the florida department of elder affairs, the areawide council on aging and the area agency on aging of broward county (aaabc). This funding allows the organization to provide nutritious meals at no cost to adults age sixty and better throughout broward county, florida, through the use of federal oaa title iii c-1 (congregate meal), c-2 (home-delivered meal), c2 and 3b screening and assessment and c1/c2 nutrition education funding.
