“There are no known family relationships. Business relationships: one board members of the organization are employed at the accounting firm the ceo uses for annual tax return preparation.”

FORM 990, PART VI, SECTION A, LINE 4:

“During the tax year, the organization made several significant amendments to its bylaws. The definition of membership was revised by replacing the term "Accredited Entities" with "Accredited Businessesformally removing references to "Accredited Charities," reflecting a shift in the organization's constituency and programmatic focus. The bylaws were also amended to empower the Executive Committee with authority to remove directors, aligning with existing procedural requirements but altering governance structure. Additionally, financial oversight provisions were updated by increasing the double-signature threshold from $2,500 to $25,000 and requiring board officer approval for purchases exceeding $10,000, thereby strengthening internal financial controls.”

Accordingly, no provision for federal and state income taxes has been recorded in the accompanying financial statements. Management has assessed BBB's tax position and believes that when using a "more likely than not" threshold as prescribed by FASB ASC 740-10, there is no need to recognize any income tax liability or benefit. Also, management believes BBB is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years ended December 31, 2020 and prior.”
