Quest community development organization is the payee of record for clients who receive monthly social security benefits from the social security administration.

The organization is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, as amended, and is classified by the internal revenue service as other than a private foundation. Accordingly, no provisions for federal and state income taxes have been recorded in the accompanying financial statements. The organization believes that it has appropriate support for any tax position taken and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements.
